You MUST protect your database because the database contains patient information. To protect your database you must first assign a password to the database.
To protect your database, you should first open the database as Exclusive.
In Microsoft Access, choose File->Open menu.
Once you have found the MasterControl3 file, click on the down arrow inside the Open button and choose Open Exclusive.
To set Password, choose Tools -> Security -> Set Database Password Menu.
Choose a password that is reasonably secure, press enter and the process is complete.
It is advisable to put your database in a secure directory, such as G: or H: drive that requires user login in order to access.
Daily unit worksheet should not lie around on work desks for days, it should be discarded in confidential bins when finished.
CIS and PAS passwords will not be stored in the database. You should enter the most current username and password every time you use its functions.
