Generating Daily Worksheet

The benefit of the MasterControl worksheet is the inclusion of recent blood test results with the daily worksheet.  

Once you have updated the patient list, the next step is to open Pathology Central by pressing the button.

You will then see the following screen.

The function of the Pathology Central is to query for the latest blood test results and then add it to each patient record.   Pathology Central can also chasing down pathology results that you specify (See extra features section for details)

 

To use Pathology Centralyou will need to enter the CIS system username and password in the corresponding fields then press Refresh.  The pathology central program will then run through each patient record and query the CIS database for the latest blood test results.

No username or password will be stored in the database for confidential reasons.  You need to enter your username and password each time you use Pathology Central.

 

Once the process is complete you can exit pathology central by pressing .

 

 

Printing Daily worksheets

In Control Central you can then print the daily worksheet.

There are 4 different types you can choose from. 

Standard Worksheet

Extended Worksheet (Has the latest 5 blood test results)

ICU worksheet

(Has designated space to write comments on the different body systems)

Short list (simple patient list with no clinical details or blood test results)

Registrars tend to like this type of worksheet more

 

 

To Print, simply choose the menu  File -> Print...
